Guests must be 6 years old and a minimum of 30lbs to participate in activities on the Wai Kai Lagoon. All guests on watercraft in the Wai Kai Lagoon are required to wear personal flotation devices.
Ohana SUP Tuesdays
Stand-up paddle (SUP) with your ohana! You can use your own equipment, or choose a board from our Starboard fleet. You’ll learn basic SUP skills and equipment familiarization in a controlled environment, followed by a set distance paddle on the lagoon. It’s also a great way to meet other families in the community!
Every Wednesday at 5:45, join a group of amazing women for some great exercise with guided stand-up-paddling on the Wai Kai Lagoon and then join together with your fellow SUP and surf Wahines for socializing, live music, drinks and dinner specials at The LookOut. Rental SUPs included with your registration or bring your own.

Nalo Kai Club Lounge & Beach Lounge Chairs
In Hawaiian, Nalo Kai can be interpreted with “Nalo” meaning “hidden” or “secret” and “Kai” as “water”, which we think is a befitting name for our unique inland surf wave and adjacent lagoon at Wai Kai. Visitors can access the Nalo Kai Club with a day-pass and Kamaaina can sign up for the The LineUp Local monthly memberships.

The LineUp Local features a monthly membership program that is designed for local residents and longer-term visitors to enjoy the benefits of convenient access to the the Nalo Kai Club, paddle sports on the Wai Kai Lagoon, and surf at the Wai Kai Wave for both individuals and families.
