Tandem Kayak – this is the most popular, light-weight tandem sit-on-top kayak in the world and was designed for fun paddling adventures. The Tandem Kayak is stable and offers comfortable seating for two people, or it can be paddled single-handed.

Based on availability, we also have the Tandem Kayak XL, which is 13’4” and features a 500-pound capacity and is ideal for larger paddlers; but is agile enough to also be paddled single-handed. The tri-form hull design provides stability, straight-tracking and maneuverability with a large, open cockpit. The Tandem Kayak XL is rented with paddles and PFD.

If you have a younger paddler age 5 and up, these are the perfect kayak! They’re stable and study enough for up to 130 pounds, but also small and nimble enough for younger paddlers to easily maneuver them on their own. These child-size kayaks are 72-inches long and are rented with a size-appropriate adjustable paddle and youth PFD. Children under the age of ## must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you’ve never been out on a kayak before or if you want to become more proficient in your kayaking stroke and overall paddling confidence, then the Introduction to Kayaking course can be perfect for you and the Wai Kai Lagoon is the ideal location to learn the sport of kayaking in a contained and protected environment with a professional Kayak Instructor. These lessons are available as 1-hour private lessons for 1 person, or as semi-private for a group of up to 3 people who sign-up together.
